The History of IIBA in Wisconsin

The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) was founded globally in 2003 to establish professional standards and a worldwide community for business analysts. As the profession grew, Wisconsin formed several regional chapters to support local BA communities across the state.

Between 2010 and 2020, three regional chapters—Northeast Wisconsin, Greater Madison, and Southeast Wisconsin—served their respective areas with events, study groups, and professional development. Over time, these chapters consolidated to create a unified statewide organization.

Today, the IIBA Wisconsin Chapter represents business analysts across Milwaukee, Madison, the Fox Valley, and beyond. We continue the legacy of all former Wisconsin chapters by providing statewide networking, certification support, and modern professional development for analysts in every industry.
